The Green Bay SHRM Diversity Committee is excited to kick off the 2nd annual Workplace Diversity, Equity and Inclusion award process!

What is the Workplace Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award and why is it offered?

    • To recognize organizations and/or companies who foster an inclusive work environment in which all employees are inspired to contribute their best through their different perspectives, backgrounds and experiences. 
    • Two award recipients will be chosen based upon organization size.
    • The winners will be selected based on commitment to supporting DEI in their organizations, building a diverse workforce and supporting DEI in their local communities.
    • The awards will be presented at the April 12, 2023 Green Bay SHRM meeting.  
    • We are also going to share ideas generated through these applications with other SHRM – Green Bay members to help them further DEI at their organizations!


Organization/company nominated for this award should:

    • Have displayed a commitment to diversity in their local community.
    • Be a role model for others in their advocacy of diversity.
    • Have demonstrated leadership in championing the cause of racial, cultural, ethnic, disabled, linguistic and other aspects of diversity within the human resources profession and community.
    • Be an organization, company or division of an organization/company that is based in Northeast Wisconsin.
    • There will be two award winners based on organization size, small/mid-sized (1-400 employees) and large (400+ employs).

Who can nominate an organization?

    • An organization is able to self-nominate by submitting the application or may be nominated by another organization.
    • If you are nominating an organization other than your own, please work directly with the organization to fill out the nomination form.  We want to ensure that the organization has had the opportunity to add initiatives, etc. to the application.

What is the nomination process?

Nominations will be reviewed by the GB SHRM Diversity Committee, and recipients will be selected based on the organization’s achievements.

When are nominations due?

Completed nomination forms must be received by March 3, 2023, for consideration.
