Has your organization
added 50 FTE since 2015?
If so, consider helping a project to bring affordable housing to the community by certifying that growth.
Impact Seven, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and Community Development Finance Institution (CDFI), is applying to the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program for a proposed 40-unit, mixed income multifamily housing development at a City of Green Bay-owned site located at 1177 E. Walnut Street. The project will provide a mix of 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom housing units. The City’s Redevelopment Authority has approved the deeding of the property to Impact Seven to catalyze the project.
We’re motivated to provide housing in Green Bay because of the significant community investments made over these last years by the City; because of the high quality of life available in terms of jobs, education and civic amenities; and because of the high quality of the Walnut Street site itself. Impact Seven will serve as developer, owner and manager of the building.
WHY THE EMPLOYER ASK?
The Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program is built on a scoring system with the highest scoring applications receiving awards. If Impact Seven can show an individual Green Bay employer added at least 50 net jobs in the last five years, the application earns four (4) points. The tax credit program is highly competitive and maximizing points is critical to an award.
