ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

LinkedIn reports people spend between 70-80% of their day engaged in some form of communication, and about 55% of their time is devoted to listening. So, about half of the time your neither being heard nor listened to!  Active listening in an essential leadership skill that requires intentional practice. Tammy provides tips and tools for leaders at every level to improve their listening skills that will result in better feedback and problem-solving, increase in trust levels, reduction in conflict, a better understanding of how to motivate others, and improvement in overall communication in your workplace.  

ABOUT THE SPEAKER   

Tammy Propson is part of NWTC Corporate Training and Economic Development Team, specializing in Leadership Development. Tammy is a leadership coach, facilitator, trainer and consultant in Green Bay, WI and centers her practice on social and emotional intelligence and the potential each one of us has within. Her day-to-day experience as the Director of Corporate Development in a construction and heavy equipment organization, combined with her background as a Midwest farm girl, enables her to create a dynamic learning experience.

She has facilitated many creative learning programs, delivering results to many different industries within the United States and Canada. Because business is personal, Tammy focuses trainings and coaching on each individual and supplies a toolbox specific to their goals.

As a consultant, Tammy provides process improvement, team building, conflict resolution, and communication solutions. Tammy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Concordia University of Wisconsin, Mequon. She is also a dual certified Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) coach, specializing in Master Herder Leadership.
