The Role:
The Human Resource/culture manager is a key member of our team helping to grow and develop our employees to meet our challenging mission. The role will be to ensure the people-related processes, programs, and technology run smooth and deliver a great employee experience. You will be responsible to provide ideas, support, and accountability for all aspects of the day-to-day to the owner and leadership team within True North in order to provide a strong Human Resources (HR) department.
The Work:
  • Manage and continuously improve the full cycle of recruiting with hiring managers so we can find, engage, qualify, hire, and onboard passionate people who are excited to be a part of a top team.
  • Serve as the number 1 recruiter for the company both in sales roles and leadership roles.
  • Partner with leaders to develop and deliver programs that make people love coming to work.
  • Ensure all the details that go into taking care of employees with benefits, and leave are managed and worry-free for employees and managers.
  • Work with Communication Specialist to support managers to build a high functioning team by ensuring employee problems and disputes get resolved; performance is maximized and recognized; and people are trained, safe, productive, and feel supported.
  • Make sure we’re a compliant employer, but also lead with HR best practices.
  • Serve as the company expert along with our Communication Specialist in Predictive Index and HireVue applications.
  • Keeps hiring managers informed throughout the recruitment process.
  • Develops and executes on innovative methods to locate, evaluate, and create a pipeline of diverse candidates for potential employment.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and you have at least 3 years of HR generalist experience.
  • Articulate and write clearly, concisely, and with excellent grammar.
  • Engage effectively with people to create trust, gain alignment, and build cohesion and teamwork to get things accomplished.
  • Organized and attentive to details.
  • Honor commitments and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical and can come up with solutions to solve problems.
  • Know employment laws and regulations and will keep us compliant within Wisconsin and Michigan.
  • Proficient with standard office software and adept with HRIS, talent management, and recruiting software platforms and websites
  • Expert in all social media platforms and work in concert with our Communication Specialist in marketing True North Surgical

Salary: $45,000-$85,000 a year
