As an HR Consultant/Career Coach, you will play a key role on the KerberRose Human Resources team to support individuals in pursuing their next professional steps and support clients through human resources consulting. We are seeking an individual who is both passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and enjoys providing human resources knowledge through consulting opportunities with business clients. This position requires routine contact with individual and business clients and may require periodic client onsite travel. This opportunity on our Human Resources team provides 1:1 training and mentorship opportunities, personal and professional grown opportunities, and a comprehensive benefit plan.

Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as a Human Resources expert and contact for external clients (organizations and individuals).
  • Support clients in training and knowledge of retention, selection, interviewing, discipline, performance, terminations, compensation, etc.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Serve as an accountability and thought partner with individuals seeking their next professional steps via executive coaching
  • Educate individuals on available employment opportunities and connect them with their dream jobs.
  • Support individuals in their career transitions with resume and cover letter writing, job search techniques, and job coaching.
  • Maintain a database of available employment opportunities and communicate with job seekers.
  • Participate in the development of career resources.
  • Assist individuals in identifying their professional strengths and challenges.
  • Guide individuals through assessments and create an individualized career plan.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years of work experience in Human Resources related field.
  • Knowledge of Human Resource practices, procedures, and regulations
  • Prior experience in consulting, outplacement, and/or executive coaching preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
