ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
Thoughtfully Fit Managers: A Coach Approach.
Coaching is an approach to management – how one carries out the role of being a manager by challenging and developing employees’ skills and abilities. This dynamic speaker will explore the core principles of coaching as an effective style, leading to more engaged employees and greater results. Participants will identify their personal management style and learn how to shift to using coaching skills to empower instead of micro-manage, improve outcomes, and create positive working relationships. Managers will experience first-hand how to ask thoughtful questions to create new awareness and build an environment of open communication, collaboration and accountability.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Do you long for a life with less conflict, better communication, stronger relationships and less stress? If so, you are in the right place! While serving for 12 years as the Director of U.S. Senator Herb Kohl’s office, Darcy Luoma built amazing people and problem solving skills. But it was while getting her master’s in Organizational Development at Pepperdine University that she found her true passion – coaching! As such, in 2013, she launched her full time coaching and consulting business focusing on creating high-performing people and teams. Darcy has spent decades refining her skills through more certification programs than she cares to count, and is now a Master Certified Coach. She is also the proud designer and Lead Instructor for the UW – Madison Professional Life Coaching Certificate. Applying these skills in her own life and work, she is now excited to bring them to you so you can coach yourself to a life you love!
